Do you require a contract?No, we do not require any contractual commitment. A simple Service Agreement is all that is required.
Do you need a phone line? No, our internet service is delivered via fiber optic cables, and has nothing to do with your existing phone line.
When is it going to be available in my area?At this time, we do not have any specific dates for specific areas. As we build out the fiber optic network, and your areas will be available, we will notify residents and businesses. We will also post updates on our web pages, as well as Facebook.
I don't live in the City, can I get Williston Fiber?Current plans for Phase One of Williston Fiber, is to provide Internet Service to Existing and Future City of Williston Utility Customers, regardless of being within or outside of the city limits. If you are a current City of Williston Utility customer, for any city services, you will be eligible for Internet Service via Williston Fiber.
I signed a contract with OpenInfra, is this the same?No, We are not affiliated with, nor do we endorse OpenInfra. Williston Fiber will be it's own Service, and will be provided over it's own Fiber Optic network.
I am a COW-Link customer, what does this mean for me? All current and future COW-Link customers, will remain in service on COW-Link, until the Fiber Optic network is available in their area for them to migrate to.
What does it cost for installation? Basic installation is FREE! If there are any unusual construction requirements, that will be discussed with the customer, prior to installation, and my be billable to the customer.
